I am a rising senior pursuing a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, specializing in Advertising, with a minor in English at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. My professional experience includes contributing to the Samford student newspaper and working with Samford Athletics.

As the Public Relations Manager for the Samford student newspaper, I oversee our social media presence, cultivate awareness both on campus and within the surrounding community and write compelling stories.

Since I took over our Instagram in August 2024, I've boosted engagement by creating fun graphics, lively videos, and interesting posts that showcase The Crimson's stories and people. We have gained over 300 new followers since I took over. My goal has been to make our feed visually appealing and engaging, encouraging interaction and keeping our content fresh. Each post aims to tell exciting stories that connect with our audience and inspire them to engage. The energy in our community is amazing, and I’m excited to keep this momentum going!

I made a brand standards guide for the newspaper.

Samford Athletics

I have done a lot of work with my schools athletic program. I help run the social media accounts and have worked in broadcasting games. This job has helped me combine my skills in social media and advertising with my love of sports.
